I've come here a few times with friends and have had pretty good experiences. Typical Vietnamese fare with competitive pricing and a healthy portion size. Soup noodles come in a large bowl with a healthy amount of meat. Bean sprouts are nice and fresh which is always a good sign. Their dry noodle and rice dishes are also fairly large as well, and I'm a big fan of their pork brochette. I will say that I'm not a huge fan of their spring rolls - they taste fine, but the wrapping feels a bit rubbery and strange. Their soup is also a bit high on the sodium level.
Service has always been very pleasant (I usually run into the nice lady behind the counter and two younger guys). Sometimes their wait staff does get overwhelmed though and make mistakes, and I've experienced some fairly long wait times for food. But overall friendly.
Parking in the area is a bit difficult. The restaurant does have some reserved parking out front, but that's a bit of a gamble. I would avoid that downstairs parking lot unless its not too busy or your car is fairly small, because it's quite a squeeze. -

Family owned restaurant, so I think the owner was having some of her relatives (cousins) helping out with service. But my god they were horrendous.
Didn't know much (if anything) about the items. Had to literally shout to get their attention (they were constantly fooling around behind the counter). When asking for a takeout container, the girl brought one that was about half the size of our leftovers, then proceeded to get another one that was too small, then got one large enough but got the wrong size lid...
Food was okay at best. Safe to say I won't be back here again. -

I came here to share a bowl of pho because I was planning to have dinner an hour later at another restaurant and the person I was with was a little hungry. She ordered the #12 Pho Dac Biet, and the menu stated that it should have beef brisket, soft tendon, fat brisket, tripe, and beef balls. Once the dish arrived at the table, it only had beef brisket and tripe. This dish tasted bland since it had only two items and the soup stock tasted like it was powdered stuff from a can.
We did not complain because the people running the restaurant did not look like they were in a good mood and we did not want to make things worse for them. We ate, paid and left. -

Almost a 4 start restaurant for me, my last couple of visits before I went back to Hong Kong, were both very good, noodles were cooked just right and the soup was flavourful, with all the ingredients well balanced. Both occasions they were very very busy.
Fast forward two months later, we come in at around 2:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon, there were only one table of a lone customer. Thought that we were in luck for a good meal, turn out that when they are not busy, everything comes to a very very slow motion, we were ready to order and had to wait 10 minutes before I had to walk over to flag down the waitress for her attention, she was busy chatting and sorting dishes in the backroom and had completely forgotten about us!
Anyways, I know service is not what we came for, and we proceeded to order, both noodles came out pretty fast, and both were overcooked!!
I was thinking maybe they perform well only under pressure? If its a full house the servers were all alert and very fast and friendly, but not today, she was so bored that she was chatting all through our meal with the other lady behind the counter.
Anyways, as I say, if I did not go again today, I would have rated a 4 star, too bad, that the standard changed so drastically!
Now, I may think again if it is still worth going there!! -

Had to put a bad review due to lack of customer service yesterday and appreciation to detail
Last night me and my wife decided to head to Love for Pho for a Thanksgiving Dinner date. The place was about 75%filled and when we were seated we cramped next to 2 other parties eating dinner.
We got there at 8:28pm and didn't get asked for our order until 8:36pm. I ordered my usual number 16 large (Pho with medium rare beef and beef balls) and fresh spring roll. My wife ordered a rice dish.
I received my order at 8:35pm and we waited for my wife's order until 8:48pm!We couldn't even call the servers as they seemed to be under 18 years old and weren't bothered to ask how our dish was nor if we needed anything else. My wife was pretty angry by then since we had to go watch a movie in downtown at 9:15pm. We paid for our food and let them know we didn't receive the rice order.
Not sure now if we will ever come back again...
